Thanks so much for your support of CuBowl!
We have now shipped to over 90% of backers. We ran into some supply issues due to having so many different product types. We didn't air mail enough of some SKUs and our freight shipments have been taking much longer to come in then anticipated. We are expecting the freight shipment to arrive in 2 weeks.
Below is a picture of the CuBowls we do have in. We are out of the copper normals smaller than 24 cm diameter. Backers who haven't received their order yet and want one of the bowls pictured below please contact me at [email protected]. Otherwise we will ship out your original order in ~2 weeks. I'm sorry for the delay.
Going forward we'll be selling through our online site, www.cubowl.com. This will a much more straight forward process. Don't buy yet though wait for our next update, we'll have discounts for crowdfunding backers.
Additionally we'll be having a picture contest! We've received quite a few wonderful picture and videos from backers. We're thinking multiple winners, winners get a free package of their choice of CuBowls. Maybe a vote based most popular entry and a couple random draws for posts on social media. Open to suggestions.

Shipping Update

The second delivery we've been waiting on should arrive early next week. We're hoping to ship out all kickstarter orders by the end of next week. So far we've shipped out bowls to approximately 60% of backers.

Shipping Out CuBowls!

We are so excited to have started shipping out CuBowls!
The freight shipment with the majority of orders arrived today. We are working through kickstarter backers and then indiegogo indemand backers. We'll send you an email with postage tracking code when we package your order.
Sorry for the delay cubowlers. I could have gotten some stuff done faster such as sending a bill of lading to the freight forwarder in advance. The bowls got held for inspection at customs for about a week. A friend made a good point that the customs officers can't x-ray the packages to see what's inside.
We haven't received any silver bowls yet, we are air rushing them. Using the formula of manufacturers promised delivery date + manufacturers typical delay we expect them within the next few days. These two shipments will fulfill all crowdfunder backers orders. You'll also receive lifetime discounts from cubowl.com for being early backers.
The bowls look great! Very sharp and eyecatching. The people in India did a great job making them. The packaging design committee came up with really nice packaging.The results look terrific and we are very proud to be sending them out. The cat and dog added moral support.
The bowls don't have any writing on them so we are including a business card sized sticker with the safety and maintenance information on it.
Short Shipping Update

We expect to ship out CuBowls in the last week of July. The majority of kickstarter CuBowls are enroute from India and have a expected arrival date in Vancouver of July 19th. The CuBowls we need that are missing from this shipment will be airmailed to us and have an expected arrival date slightly before the freight shipment.

Survey errors fixed

Hello CuBowlers,
The shipping prices in the backerkit survey should all be correct now. You'll be able to select the first bowl you want, and if you are ordering multiple bowls your remaining credit should match the cost of the addons you want. If you signed up for local pickup/delivery contact us directly to refund your shipping costs.
If you completed the survey while it showed that you owed extra money, please change your order, you should see the updated lower shipping costs now. FYI all backers will be able change their orders for at-least 2 weeks before we lock in your orders.
Sorry again for the mistake, and thank you for your patience and help while we got it sorted. Please let us know if there are any errors still.
